War Mother's Star

Today while thinking of SSG Kelly, I remember what I learned about the War Mother's Flag. Sometimes you see a banner in someone's window. It is white with red trim and usually a blue star in the middle. That means the woman who lives there has a son at war. However, if you see a yellow star in the middle it traditionally means that that woman's son has died at war. With Mother's Day so close, we should pray for Mother's everywhere with "children" at war.
