I've been working on a few pieces for Week 2 of the As You Like It. The Director asked for a little help on a few things. A couple other things I said, "Please, can I try out a couple changes?"
This was a request. This actor has a costume that is very flowy and needed definition and accent.
This was just a fun piece to add flair and bauble to Rosalind, a girl living in the home of a Duke. I hope the Costume Director likes it and let's the character wear it!
This is also a fun version of a girl, Celia, the daughter of the same Duke, and best friends with Rosalind.
"The Lords need more gold!" the director said. So, I added sparlies to their three outfits!
Anyway, it was fun, but today I need to do laundry because I worked nonstop, almost for 2.5 days on this stuff. Between shopping, thinking, sewing, and hot gluing I was sort of obsessive! Also, we should be at dress rehearsal today, but they canceled it because of the 2-day stomach bug that has been running through the cast families. Show tomorrow night, we hope!
