Everyone needs a little Drama in their life!

So, my daughter is involved in a bit of drama.  Rest assured, it is the good kind!  Anna is playing, for the second year in a row, with SMASH which stands for Southern Maine Association of Shakespearean Homeschoolers.  This troupe started meeting in August to be cast into roles, then spent September and October being taught the story as they read through this year's script, Much Ado About Nothing.  Then they dispersed to learn their lines through November and December.  When January began, so did rehearsals.  A day or two a week to start, and then this month the 4 day a week schedule began.

For the first time, they have the privilege of acting on the stage of the Theater at Monmouth.  What an amazing place that is.  Cumston Hall is an historic building plopped in the middle of Monmouth, Maine.  I've seen several productions there and it is beautiful!

Anna at rehearsal having a tough time staying in character.  "In Character" means a brooding revengeful man.  :P
