Kitchen Ceiling

So, it's snowing outside, and I was sewing inside, while Fran and Micah were hanging drywall on the ceiling.  Micah said it was one of the easiest ceiling drywall jobs he's done because of the way he prepped it.  Cool!

Here's the first piece up.

They marked each recessed light with blue chalk, put the measured and cut piece of drywall up to it, then took it down and cut out the hole on the blue chalk line.

All done.  Next step taping.

Oh, and cleaning....

So, while they continue with this, (and I'm reminded that I failed to acquire a light for over the island counter,) I'm headed out to drive in the snow for the afternoon to sew costumes at SMASH, bring a friend to work, and bring Anna home.
