It's not often in my life over the last year or so,
that I've felt that I am just keeping a bunch of plates spinning in the air...barely.
There are so many things that aren't being done around here while I take care of business for others.
I remember that every time I go into the back hall and see the dirt and dust bunnies swirling along the edges.
My priority in housework these days is trying to keep the house smell good and not bad.
So, keeping food on the table, the trash taken out, the kitchen cleaned, and the laundry done.
The other rooms? Filled with dust bunnies. Oh, and piles.
Every so often I'll skitter around and grab some things and return them to where they belong.
Yesterday I finally put all the cleaners I still want under the new kitchen sink.
The rest went out with today's trash.
The time takers are the Sagadahoc County Republican Caucus, driving to and from play rehearsals, sewing play costumes, meeting up with a friend at her "practice doing my job as a Pampered Chef consultant" show where I bought tools for my trade, wedding shower, (cooking for and shopping for said shower,) and helping Adam with his new volunteer job as Communications Director at our church. That includes web host, which means he's having to learn HTML "real quick".
No news on the kitchen improvements. Micah has decided that the job will be much easier, (and maybe that dining room will be able to clear up a little?) if he builds a work bench in the basement. So, he's down there pounding and sawing away. That's happy.
