So in my previous post I mentioned that I bought upholstery tacks to repair a chair. The chair I got from my Mom. I think she got it from Great Grammie. I can see by looking at it that it has had an interesting adventure. Those snowflakes are stick-on and glow in the dark. Not sure when they got there.
The seat had 15 tacks holding this make-shift seat on. I have three left, and stopped using the chair months ago. It also has joints that need attention. At some point it was caned. I think I'll just restore the most recent fix rather than going back to caning it!
As soon as I get this fixed, I can use it at my sewing machine again, then my dining room chair can go back down to its table.
